Marketing and Social Media Intern

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION

Our Marketing and Social Media Intern position is an entirely remote internship open to college students from all over the United States. Despite being one of the largest music academies serving Los Angeles since 2004, the Hollywood Academy of Music does not rely heavily on social media usage. We feel that it is time for a refresh, and this is where you come in! 

Our intern will have flexibility to complete the following tasks and liaise closely with the Academy's leadership team. 
 

• Manage the company’s social media accounts and post content.
• Brainstorm campaign ideas.
• Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
• Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
• Learn and becomes proficient on internal software systems.

Although this is an internship, the position will entail full creative control over several social media platforms, allowing the intern to both - develop and gain relevant experience as well as spread their creative vision!

With thousands of students over the years, our Academy feels that it is time for a change in how we approach social media, and we hope you are in for the journey!

The position is ideal for college students and can be fulfilled remotely. It will entail 5-10 hours of work per week and will last for 12 weeks.
