Maintenance Technician

We have partnered with a large food manufacturing company in the Lynn, MA area to provide them with a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician. 

Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician:

• Maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot all systems, equipment, in the facilities.  Perform rebuilds to return equipment to OEM specifications.
• Complete schedule Preventive Maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Perform adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment.
• Make necessary electrical installations and/or repairs per NEC.
• Troubleshooting equipment using ladder logic and schematics. Use electrical test instruction examples: voltmeter, megger, and Ohm meter.  Maintain a written or electronic log of any highlights occurring during shift coverage.
• Assures that Employee Job Safety Accountabilities are completed.  Identifies compliance issues promptly and reports to appropriate individuals.
• With QA and Safety, and other as appropriate, assists in the execution of action plan related to health and safety and assure the highest levels of compliance.
• Performs other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements of the  Maintenance Technician:

• HS Diploma/GED Required--Associates Degree desired
• 5 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment performing troubleshooting and repair of production machinery
• Allen Bradley PLC experience REQUIRED and Wonderware experience a PLUS
• Great communication skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
