Maintenance Tech Full/Part Time

Looking for a Maintenance Technician with Multi-Family or Apartment Complex experience. Must be able to keep up with a upbeat tempo and produce quality work. Willing to train if you are willing to Learn and work.

• Job Type: Full-time, Part Time, and PRN

  Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, Weekends Available
•  
• Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of the building and grounds.
• Performs routine maintenance of apartments and common areas.
• Performs wall, ceiling, flooring, plumbing, electrical and other repairs .
• Conduct property inspections, including move in, housekeeping, and grounds to assure adherence to established standards.

• Skills Needed:

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to push, pull and lift over 50lbs.
• Able stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time.
• Able to adjust to change as assignments will vary.

• Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of two years of apartment maintenance/facilities experience preferred
• Experience in multifamily residential property management
• Experience with electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• EPA Certification preferred
• Possession of personal vehicle
• Able to work weekends, as needed
• Drywall repair
• Texture and texture match
• Exterior repairs – fascia, siding, stucco, soffits, fencing, porches, patios, decks
• Screens – screen repairs, aluminum
• Bathroom and kitchen remodels
• Flooring – wood, vinyl, laminate, and tile

• Additionally Valued Resources:

• General construction knowledge
• Possession of personal tools preferred
• Posses a utilitarian work vehicle capable of transporting tools, materials, labor etc.. (Truck, Van, etc..)
• Smart phone and access to the internet
• Experience of 7+ years in remodeling or home repair trades (3-6 trade skills)
• Finish carpentry – doors, windows, trim, baseboards, molding
• Excellent customer service and sales skills (will train the right person)
• Estimating experience

Preferred

• High School or better (not required)
