Maintenance Crew Member- Part Time

Part time, year round 24-30hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Conduct general building maintenance and repairs.

• Conduct grounds maintenance duties such as mowing and trimming, landscaping including excavating by machine and hand, fencing maintenance, tree trimming, etc.

• Assist with various tasks as directed by supervisor.

• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment (forklift, skid steer, trailers) in performing duties.

• Some equipment operating experience preferred (skid loaders, tractors, zero turn mowers, aerial lifts, etc.)

• Respond to maintenance needs as directed by the supervisor.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and 1 year of post-high school work experience.

• Basic carpentry skills preferred.

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Must be available to work at least 3 days/week.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions including heat, inclement weather, cold, etc.

• Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.

• Must be able to stand, lift, walk, carry for long periods of time.

• Must be a team player.

• Must have the ability to use hand and power tools including hammer, sledgehammer, shovel, jackhammer, chain saw, miter saw, table saw, etc.
