Kerry Ingredients is a well-known food manufacturer that is looking for motivated and driven people to join their team! This location is making SPRINKLES! Yes, sprinkles the sprinkles that add the fun to your cakes and cupcakes.  Kerry is seeking candidates interested in food manufacturing, production operators and Blender Operators blend ingredients, color and prepare sprinkles to become a final product that can be used by consumers.  Experience is preferred but not required, training is available for entry level candidates interested in a career position with Kerry Ingredients.

Work Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Available shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 1:00pm- 9:30pm or 9:00pm- 5:30 am

Pay: Starting at $16/hour and goes up to $20 per hour based on experience, plus $.60 and %.75 shift differential.  Along with full-time Benefits, Medical, 401K, and Paid Vacation days.

Position Details:

• Operates and run mixers, and empty mixer.
• Uses basic math skills, including fractions, to calculate quantities of ingredients needed for partial batches.
• Accurately adds ingredients for use in mixes by manually lifting bags of ingredients into ingredient mixers.
• Uses sanitary food paddle to push/pull/scrape product out of mixer.
• Properly documents all ingredients moved and consumed.
• Assists with detailed cleaning activities in assigned room as well as other areas of plant on a regular basis.
• Delivers a clean, well-ordered room to after each shift.
• Ensures that all bag waste is disposed of or recycled as required.
• Ensures that all raw materials staged at the beginning of shift match to specs.
• Completes necessary quality checks and sampling requirements for quality lab testing.
• Printing labels, Basic computer skills needed to print labels, pull work instructions, document and track ingredients.
• Physical requirements include lifting ingredient bags that weigh 50-lbs, walking up and down stairs, bending, twisting and pulling.
• Forklift Drivers will need at least 6 months of Stand-up & Sit-down forklift experience and RF scanner experience.
