LTL Local Day Driver Needed for Full-Time Position

In search of a Class A (53') Truck Driver to do LTL (Touch Freight) for the "Day Shift". For a position in our Sacramento facility. Our drivers positions are based on a 50 Hr work week for the hours of 9 AM to 6-7 PM and "off weekends".

All applicant drivers must be a minimum age of 25 yrs old with a minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience necessary to qualify to be on our company vehicle insurance. You must be able to pass a TSA qualifications. Driver must be willing to go to the Bay Area and back as needed for certain routes and be able to lift a minimum of 50 - 75 Lbs. Forklift, Warehouse Forklift experience is a plus.

JIT Transportation

• We have the ability to use our customers BOL as the delivery receipt. We have found that in many cases, carriers who reproduce the BOL into a delivery document lose much of the special instructions in transition. This has been shown to have a dramatic effect on customer satisfaction, as the customer does not receive the proper service and often times, their needs are not met.
• JIT can adopt the shippers BOL number as our own Pro number. We are not confined to the requirements of a standard pro number. Our system allows for ultimate flexibility, which highlights our focus to be easy to do business with.
