Logistics Coordination Leader

As a pivotal player in our client's operations team, the Logistics Coordination Leader is tasked with spearheading the orchestration of product flow and oversight of inventory integrity. This role demands a vigilant approach to safety and efficiency, ensuring every piece of our logistics puzzle fits perfectly to serve our clients' needs promptly and accurately.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Champion a safety-first mindset, equipping our team with the tools and knowledge to execute their duties securely.
  • Navigate the complexities of logistics partnerships, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries that exceed our clients' expectations.
  • Strategically schedule team efforts, adapting as necessary to fulfill client demands, including the judicious allocation of overtime.
  • Foster a seamless collaboration between production and quality assurance teams to guarantee deliveries that are both punctual and flawless.
  • Optimize facility ingress and egress points, along with the equipment deployment strategy, to enhance operational fluidity and safety.
  • Oversee inventory management, maintaining impeccable records and accuracy to support operational excellence.
  • Support and uphold stringent warehousing standards in alignment with GMP protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and periodically review SOPs to align with industry benchmarks like ISO 9000/14000.
  • Administer weekly payroll activities, including adjustments as needed, to ensure accurate compensation.
  • Undertake additional administrative duties as they arise, contributing to the team's overall success.
Key Qualifications and Abilities:
  • Eligibility to attain IATA, DG, and other pertinent certifications for the logistical movement of goods.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Superb communication prowess, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team with professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a knack for nurturing collaborative international relationships.
  • Keen attention to detail paired with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
  • A proactive team player, eager to drive organizational objectives through collective effort.
  • Skilled in identifying challenges and brainstorming viable solutions.
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines efficiently without compromising quality.
  • A proponent of continuous improvement, always seeking ways to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Processing systems (a plus).
  • Experience with international shipping logistics (preferred).
