Licensed Therapist

We welcome patients into a calm environment so that they can work hard and begin the steps toward lives of sobriety. Our medical team addresses the physical symptoms of withdrawal and works through psychological issues related to substance abuse. We are seeking an experienced, communicative, and compassionate therapist to join our team and support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our clients. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with people.

What our Full-time Licensed Therapist will find:

• Autonomy to run your own practice without the burden of payor contracting, credentialing, and billing.
• Use evidenced based care and provide access to assessment and treatment planning tools to elevate and support the continuity of care for patients.
• Provide individuals with the psychosocial support and education needed to address their identified mental well-being needs.
• Services provided but not limited to…Activation, assessment, diagnosis, advocacy delivery of counseling services in a therapeutic clinic setting.

Qualifications:

• Need to have experience with addiction treatment, clinical intakes and utilization reviews, psychosocial and in particular group therapy for dual dx patients, and the ability to intervene with a crisis if it arises.
• Good understanding of how to document properly for third-party reimbursement and can be flexible between levels of care from detox, and res to PHP.
• Current and active and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Family and Marriage Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)
• Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
• Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
• Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
• Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills
• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting
