Our firm is looking for a full-time legal secretary with proven experience preferred. Candidates must be proficient in secretarial tasks that are specific to the law field: writing legal documents, reviewing/proof reading legal documents with a knowledge of a variety of legal areas, creating and maintaining schedules for lawyers, and more, as well as standard secretarial duties, that might include: answering or directing inquiries, answering emails, filing, copying, faxing and maintaining the office. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. The following would be assets for this position: listening/communication skills; people/interpersonal skills; organizational skills; and, computer skills.
Our firm offers a competitive pay rate in accordance with the experience of the individual, along with some benefits; however, we do not offer health insurance. Candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and financial background check without previous history of bankruptcy.
This is a full-time position (37.5 hrs/wk) with working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
