Legal Assistant

The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to lawyer
• Handle communication with clients
• drafting routine correspondence and other administrative tasks
• answering phone and conducting initial intakes
• scheduling appointments and hearings
• e-filing
• finalizing and proofreading pleadings
• maintaining calendar and files
• assisting in discovery, etc.
• Proficiency in Word, PDF and Excel is required. Please email cover letter and resume.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in Litigation; Paralegal experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be able to work well with others as a team player and independently
• Must have strong work ethic for fast-paced environment with expectations of high quality

Salary to be determined based upon experience.
