Job Summary. 

 

As our L&D Coordinator (temp) on the L&D team, you’ll will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all national learning activities and projects, as directed to support MMA University. This position will be the first point of contact for queries and responsible for the systems and procedures that support the growth and maintenance of MMA University.

 

MMA University is a strategic talent development tool that was created to develop the full potential of our colleagues and ignite a passion for lifelong learning.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Provides coordination and administrative support in relation to talent and learning programs

 

• Coordinates learning registrations, attendee lists & general organization for all national learning events

 

• Organizes and assists in developing learning manuals, pre-work and course evaluation procedures (inclusive of multimedia visual aids and other educational materials)

 

• Supports the LMS Administrator in uploading and maintaining new courses and content via our Learning Management System

 

• Monitors and maintains learning and talent related websites and/or SharePoint sites

 

• Schedules, coordinates and moderates learning webinars/programs as the team’s point person with presentation technology

 

• Partners with internal and external faculty to prepare them for upcoming events and programs

 

• Assesses instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs

 

• Supports mandatory training administration including reporting, monitoring completion, analysis of training events, and troubleshooting issues

 

• Assists with organization-wide training needs assessment and helps to identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed

 

• Develops marketing material and communications in conjunction with other colleagues to promote relevant courses or learning opportunities in a timely manner

 

• Creates and implements a consistent tracking mechanism for all development courses/events taken to enhance reporting capabilities

 

• Assists in researching and recommending external learning solutions

 

• Assists in the management of external vendor/carrier relationships

 

• Monitor budget spend by providing support of budget tracking through accurate accruals

 

• Monitor and manage the learning email in-box

 

Qualifications.

 

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

 

1-3 years’ experience (preferably in a HR and/or Learning role)

Previous experience with a Learning Management System and Content Authoring Tools, preferred (ie: Workday, Salesforce, Adobe Captivate, etc.)

Excellent written and communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail

Strong Microsoft Office skills – in particular Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work in a challenging environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines

Exceptional follow up and follow-through skills in project management and daily tasks

Self-starter and proactive
