Job Importance and Compatibility
Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment - Follow blueprints precisely and mark and measure surfaces that need to be tiled to determine how to go about jobs.
Handling and Moving Objects - Deliver and carry all tools and materials needed to complete the job to the working area.
Organizing, Planning, and Preparation - Prepare and clean floors for installation of tile. Including some demo, scrapping, sweeping and vacuuming. Prepare various surfaces for tiling with crack isolation and waterproofing material.
Creative Thinking and Sharp Attention to Detail - Align tiles with a laser and straighten them with straightedges, levels and squares to create a tile layout to insure tile will be square, even and precise. Cut tiles and shape them properly to ensure they fit around obstacles, tight corners and odd spaces. Tap tiles into place carefully to properly adhere tiles to the base, making sure not to break or damage tiles.
Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings - Monitoring and reviewing work of tile assistants to ensure quality work.
Finish and Complete Quality Evaluation of Project - Fill in tile joints and corners to complete the job using finishing materials such as grout and caulk. Final clean up and walk through with team.

• Previous experience setting tiles
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment, up
to 50 pounds
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
A positive if you have:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Leadership experience
• Multiple years of experience setting tile
