The Lead CNA is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the clients needs. The Lead CNA will be expected to go to all assigned shifts in any location within the N. Houston and Montgomery county areas including the BrightStar office on a scheduled and as-needed basis.

• Provide client care as directed by the Supervising Nurse which includes observing clients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, vital signs
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Transportation for errands and appointments
• Attend all new clients start of care and mentor the CNA assigned to those clients
• Work in the BrightStar office, on-call, as needed

• Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification
• Minimum 1 year of documented direct patient care experience, preferably in a home health setting
• Current CPR from an AHA class. Online CPR class is not accepted.
• Current Texas Drivers License and auto insurance
• Current TB test and Physical
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance
