Lead Agricultural Applicator

Our client, a versatile Agribusiness based in Tecumseh, OK, is searching for a skilled individual to join their close-knit team as the Lead Agricultural Applicator. Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizers and chemicals accurately based on blend sheet instructions, ensuring precise application to optimize crop yield and quality.
• Work extended hours during peak seasons to meet customer demand and deadlines, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Assist with inventory management, daily operations, product deliveries, and other tasks as required to support cooperative operations.
• Engage in Agronomy sales activities or perform equipment maintenance and repairs during the off-season to contribute to overall business success.
• Focus on a variety of crops, including corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa, to meet the diverse needs of customers in the region.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Custom Applicator or similar role in the agriculture industry, demonstrating proficiency in operating application equipment and applying agronomy products.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately to ensure precise application and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Willingness to work long hours and adapt to seasonal demands, showing flexibility and a commitment to meeting customer needs.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor, capable of effectively communicating with customers and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and basic agronomy principles, with experience working with crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa preferred but not required.
• A proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to collaborate with team members to achieve collective success.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year plus benefits
