Lab Tech

Lab Tech needs 5+ years experience

Lab Tech requires:

• Associate's Degree Required
• Experience shipping and receiving lab samples and consumables
• DOT, RCRA, IATA certifications preferred
• Experience aliquoting preferred
• Understanding of laboratory safety protocols and requirements
• Data entry and computer skills
• Must be detail oriented and have organizational skills
• FDNY C-14 Certificate of Fitness preferred.
• Lift at least 50 pounds and will also require PPE
•  Hep B vaccine or tither is required.

Lab Tech duties;

• Receive, unload, unpack, and inspect all laboratory deliveries.

• Manage lab inventory logistics in the laboratory/stockrooms as they arrive according to departments.

• Report damages or shortages to supervisors.

• Match shipments to their associated requestor and enter receiving data in purchase request database.

• Monitor laboratory inventory levels daily.

• Maintain HSE compliance of all receiving areas.

• Assist with outgoing lab shipments

• Aliquoting, glass washing, and autoclaving
