Kitchen Exhaust Cleaner

We are Steel Mountain Fire & Safety and we service North Carolina and surrounding areas with teams based out of Mooresville and Raleigh, NC. We are hiring for motivated crew members for our Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning team in the Hickory area. Experience is preferred, but for motivated individuals we will train you for the job. As a crew helper you will be responsible for assisting the crew leader in completing each job. Roles and Responsibilities will be discussed during the interview.

Our goal is to clean 2 to 3 restaurants each night while the establishment is closed for business. Our typical work week consists of Sunday - Thursday nights (approx. 9pm-6am), but may be slightly different based on customers needs. There may be some overnight travel required.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Be a Team Player and work well in a team environment
• Have valid driver's license
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have own reliable transportation to and from work
• Pass background check
• Pass a drug test
• Lift 50 pounds
• Work in small/tight areas (cleaning inside of commercial exhaust hood)
• Work on feet for 10 hrs. at a time
• Be able to climb ladder
• Be reliable. Our job requires restaurants to close, therefore we need to show up with a full team when scheduled
• Be self-driven, we work independently at times throughout the cleaning and must be productive

Job Type: Part-time 20-30 hours per week.

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour

Steel Mountain Fire & Safety is a fire & safety and commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning company started in 2017 in Raleigh North Carolina. In the few years since the beginning, we have expanded and now cover from the mountains to the coast. We are currently hiring for our commercial exhaust cleaning team based out of Moorseville North Carolina.
