Key Holder/Team Lead Position/Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

Come work with us at Mystik Sisters™.  One of the area's top New Age Spiritual stores is searching for someone to help in our busy retail location.  As a sales associate, you will be the face of our company! You get to highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers.  You will be directly responsible for assisting customers and helping recognize the need for our products and services while addressing their needs. We are looking for associates who are capable of learning what we sell.  Our new associate must be able to articulate our purpose along with our mission in a manner that is educational, insightful, and professional.  If you are outgoing and enjoy serving others and are ready to make a positive difference, this is an incredible opportunity for you.

Job Responsibilities will include Opening or Closing of the store.  Team Lead will give direction on specific tasks in the store when no other management is on-site or as directed by upper management.

This applicant should have the desire to move into Management as Mystik Sisters grows.     
 

• Greet and assist customers throughout the store and find creative ways to talk about the products we provide.
• Maintain a superior knowledge of what we sell and be familiar with the relationship of corresponding products so you can upsell to our customers.
• Keep the store organized and participate in frequent cleanup to make shopping pleasant and convenient for each of our customers.
• Facilitate customer inquiries, answer questions to encourage product sales, and see that escalated requests are addressed and solved immediately.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, and position yourself as a personable spokesperson for our company.
• Build brand awareness and highlight our company's reputation by talking about the characteristics that make our organization competitive.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to set personal goals and to familiarize yourself with current promotions, and sales. 
• Contribute to helping our company better serve its customers by offering creative insight into improvements that will make our products and services better.

• High school diploma or GED
• Have leadership skills
• Managing other Employees
• Take Directions well
• Be flexible to work variable hours-including weekends (Friday - Sunday)
• Be honest, dependable, reliable, and punctual is a must
• Have strong attention to detail coupled with strong communication and listening skills
• Be energetic with a willingness to learn about multiple product and services

• Metaphysical, Gem, Mineral & Crystal Knowledge
• Knowledge of many world cultures, religions, and beliefs
• Knowledge of New Age therapies, healing modalities, and health
• Jewelry experience in sales, creation, or other relations

• Strong retail sales and customer service experience at least 1 yr.
• Someone who is coachable
• Someone who is comfortable with technology
• Cashier/Key Holder Experience
• Bi-lingual Spanish desirable
• Good at prioritizing, multi-tasking, and detailed-oriented
   

• knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Windows, POS, Credit Card Processing Systems
• Photo/Videographer skills
