Key Holder

General Job Description

The goal of the Key Holder is to support the management and Home Office teams in being a role models for fellow sales staff members by adhering to all CLE company policies and procedures and following company standards for excellent customer service. When a manager or Home Office employee is not on duty, the Key Holder will be acting manager-on-duty and is responsible for leading their team to accomplish daily tasks.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through appropriate conversation and service
• Work productively within a team and independently to maintain organization, cleanliness, and restocking of the sales floor & backroom
• Participate in the processing of new inventory shipment
• Upholds company policies and procedures
• Exhibit strong loss prevention awareness
• Exhibit a familiarity with current and unreleased products in-store and online, as well as upcoming sales & features
• Responsible for counting drawers/safe at open and initialing appropriate forms
• Ensures all opening or closing procedures are completed thoroughly and correctly
• Communicates with in-store and Home Office teams regarding location needs
• Contributes to the overall vibe at CLE Clothing Co. by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others and their time

Qualifications and Requirements

• Retail experience preferred
• Experience in customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three to five shifts per week, including weekdays and weekend
• Ability to multitask and work in a solo environment
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older

CLE Clothing Co. was founded in 2008 by two lifelong friends. One, a graphic designer, had always dreamed of starting a t-shirt company. The other, an entrepreneur, was looking for a fun new opportunity. One fateful night over some beers, chili, and burgers at one of their favorite spots, Whitey's in Richfield, Ohio, the guys decided to put their money where their mouth was and came up with a plan.  They purchased a screen printing press, some blank t-shirts, and got to work on a couple of designs. CLE Clothing was born. Word began to spread, and the company was literally "Spreading Cleveland Pride, One T-Shirt at a Time" as the guys screened and shipped the shirts themselves. With a thriving online store that ships all over the world and a popular store front, in 2012 they opened up a Flagship store in the heart of downtown Cleveland on the corner of E. 4th Street and Euclid. Located on the hottest street in Cleveland with the city's best restaurants, the CLE Clothing Co. brand has become an icon in the city for locals and tourists alike. The shop not only houses the CLE Clothing Co. brand products, but also carries over 40 other local artisans, designers and makers. CLE Clothing Co. is proud to say that over 98% of their products are Made in the USA and printed right here in Cleveland. CLE Clothing Co. has come a long way - from the 2 founders in the early days to now employing 50 Clevelanders between the 4 stores in the greater Cleveland area, including Downtown at the corner of E. 4th and Euclid, west side at Crocker Park, east side in Shaker Heights, Akron at Summit Mall and online "wear-house" located in Lakewood.
