Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:
Build and maintain a custom portal using JIRA Service Desk
Collaborate with teams across the organization, gather requirements to develop, and deliver custom templates, workflows (automation) using Atlassian products (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
Design, Develop, Administer Atlassian products (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence), including custom plugins for JIRA as well as evaluating plugins from the marketplace
Perform regular patching and upgrade of servers
Design and organize documents in Confluence by function/office and link the Confluence space with respective Service Desk projects for easy access
Manage user permissions and Confluence spaces per established governance
Position Requirements:
Experience with JIRA service desk and front-end/UI customization
Experience with JIRA administration
Experience managing Confluence spaces
Excellent understanding of JIRA workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screens schemes, etc.
Familiarity with databases and SQL competence
Demonstrated experience in writing scripts
Experience in a customer facing role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
6+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in business; business management; financial management; systems management; computer science; engineering; physics; math; behavioral science or related areas. Master’s Degree preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience working with Agile development and DevOps processes
Experience with APIs and tool integration
Experience as a systems administrator and/or .Net development
