IT Application Analyst, OSI PI Systems Support

Our client is looking for a candidate for a full time position supporting OSI PI Systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Project set up of OSIsoft PI products (PI Interfaces, PI Server DA, AF, ProcessBook, Coresight) and Utilities.
• Architecture, Implementation and Support of OSIsoft PI System, monitor real-time data acquisition and data transfer to collective remote systems.
• PI AF structure and PI tags, standards definition, Implementation and troubleshooting.
• Enabling multiple OPC servers as a source for PI data collection; analyze PI to PI Interfaces data flow and investigate problem areas for global repository.
• Understanding of OSIsoft PI systems architecture and implementation
• Testing, troubleshooting, and implementing new PI products.
• PI AF modeling, analysis, and integration with PI vision, Notifications and Event Frame.
• Support applications, infrastructure for OSIsoft PI client tools.
• Provide OSIsoft PI performance optimization, system health monitoring and availability.
• Install, configure and monitor PI servers, application operating systems, interfaces, and client tools.
• Create, monitor, and provide maintenance for OSIsoft PI system components.
• Monitor security, maintenance, backups, systems restoration,
• Perform root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive improvements.
• Develop and maintain effective application technical support documentation.
• Work directly with vendors and IT entities to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Optimization and support the analysis of business processes, information gathering.
• Participate on team projects to deliver new functionality and to support corporate initiatives.
• Collaborate and interact with Enterprise Architects, IT Operations, Telecom, and other business units
• Comply with all applicable IT processes and procedures
• Interact and provide support for end users.
