Inventory Controller
We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory controller to join our growing team.
In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized database system
(SYSPRO). Your primary objective will be to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily
distribution demands while minimizing excess supply.
Inventory Controller Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
• Print out jobs that have been created, organize & separate per sales order
• Update any revisions that have been made such as changes made by engineering
department or ship date change.
• Make adjustments of inventory per Leads, perform critical inventory tasks to ensure
the correct amount of items are in stock
• Prioritize task, maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers
and cycle counts
• Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies;
troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to
maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
• Review at month end to see if jobs have been received and closed.
Inventory Controller Requirements and Qualifications
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• High school diploma
• Minimum of one year of Inventory Control related experience in warehousing, or
logistics
• Strong Excel skills, Syspro experience a plus, proficient with computers and other
standard office technology
• Superior organizational and communication skills
