Insurance Defense Paralegal

Key responsibilities:
- Assist with insurance defense litigation cases
- Review insurance claims to determine coverage
- Supporting attorneys and staff within the insurance defense practice group
- Correspond with clients and the counsel for the opposing side
- Assist with legal research and drafting of a wide range of legal documents
Requirements
2+ years of experience in insurance defense as a paralegal
- Paralegal certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with client intake and reviewing insurance claims
- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
- Must possess analytical, legal research, and writing skills
- Demeanor to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
