ICU Nurse

We are searching for multiple ICU, Nurses for our client located in Alexandria Louisiana, a 241-bed facility employing approximately 1,600 Associates, and a medical staff of over 325 physicians.

Title: ICU, RN – Alexandria, LA

# of Positions: Multiple
Schedule: 12 hours shifts 7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm – 7:00am
Facility size (beds): 241 beds

Position

• Unit name:  ICU / CCU
• Details on unit
  • Unit size, # of beds, etc. 26
  • Why is this position open? Replacement/Add to Staff
  • Patient ratio: 2:1 …some 3:1…possible 1:1 ( depending on Acuity )
  • Types of patient profiles or cases: Post Op CABG/ Trauma

ADN or BSN

Minimum Work Experience (Must haves years, units, trauma levels):
Minimum of 3 year ICU Experience
Minimum of 2 year Med/Surg Experience

o    Nice to haves: Strong Clinical/Critical Thinking Skills

Required Licenses/Certifications
o    BLS
o    ACLS
o    CCRN – A plus but not required
o    Current LA RN license or a compact license

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  o    Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
  o    Passionate about the patient experience
