Human Resource Specialist

Mount Indie is currently interviewing for Human Resource Specialists in Sacramento CA, Reston VA and Lakewood CO to join our team and support our federal client. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and make an impact providing talent acquisition support to the federal government.  

On a day to day basis you will: 

• Administer recruitment programs for assigned organizational areas, including merit promotion, DEU, and recruitment under special hiring authorities

• Provide human resource advice in the areas of position classification, recruitment, and placement for a full range of scientific, professional, administrative, and clerical positions

• Analyze and classify GS and WG positions

• Work closely with senior management in organizations with changing missions and technologies in order to identify and resolve the nature of situations affecting accurate classification and effective recruitment for a wide variety of positions

• Provide advisory services on all matters pertinent to position classification and position management

• Perform and/or coordinate job analyses to establish and validate rating, ranking, and selection criteria

• Make qualification determinations, rating and ranking applications, and issuing referrals

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years professional work experience to include experience with Microsoft Office Products (or Similar) 

• Current DEU certification (Delegated Examining Unit)  

• Experience using Monster Government Solutions to build vacancies, review applications and prepare certificate of eligibles 

• At least 1 year of federal civilian staffing, recruitment and position classification

• As this is supporting a Federal Program, US Citizenship is required - per contract requirements 

• Ability to pass a background check
