Job Description:

Harbor Institute is looking to help college students to find amazing internship opportunities.  This internship in particular will be with one of our partners based in Milwaukee, WI area or their location in Ohio. Our partner is a Fortune 500 company with a global brand as the top in it's field.  

Our partner is in a realm where they are doing future changing things and they  need the brightest minds to help make that happen – the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers. That’s where you come in. 
 

This Innovation intern role will support value assessments and business case development. Specifically, you will assist in collecting data, entering it into value calculators, and analyzing data.  The role will help support new opportunity in the sales field, help calculate ROI, and justify quantifiable investments for the customer. 

You will have the opportunity to be a significant contributor, while getting comprehensive exposure to the business structure and how our partner is helping their customers bring the Connected Enterprise to life. Each intern has a dedicated mentor to help navigate the company, ramp up in their code base, and remove daily blockers. Additionally, as a student associate there will be hosted activities and events intended to help you grow your network, develop your professional skills and immerse yourself in our company culture.  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university majoring in accounting, finance, economics or similar. 
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
  • Must be located in the Houston, TX or Milwaukee, WI area. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel (more than the basics)
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Knowledge in analyzing data
  • Meeting facilitation skills 
  • Willing to do some minor travel to customers
