HOSPITAL BASED GYNECOLOGIC PATHOLOGIST
Chattanooga, Tennessee (USA): Medical Search Solutions is looking for an AP/CP Board
certified pathologist to provide pathology services for the Erlanger Health System. Responsibilities will
include sign out of surgical pathology cases with emphasis in gynecologic pathology as well as general
surgical pathology, non-gynecologic cytopathology and shared on call responsibilities. Hospital based
services such as frozen sections and rapid onsite cytology evaluations are also performed. Clinical
pathology laboratory medical director experience is desirable. Erlanger is a large not-for-profit urban
level 1 trauma and tertiary care center and children’s hospital with a robust cancer treatment program.

and include subspecialty expertise in GI, Neuropathology, Pediatrics, Cytopathology, Hematopathology

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
Excellent communication skills
AP/CP board certification/board eligibility in pathology
Completion of a surgical pathology fellowship or other subspecialty fellowship (Gynecological
pathology is desired)
Must be eligible for or currently possess a valid Tennessee medical license.
