Grounds Maintenance Worker

Davison Design and Development is an innovative company with multiple locations in the greater Pittsburgh area, primarily based in Fox Chapel. We are currently seeking a Grounds Maintenance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be a motivated and dependable self-starter that thrives in both team and independent work situations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for work assignment, daily planning, safety, and work quality. Work independently to accomplish production schedules.
• Landscaping - Trimming, pruning, raking, weeding mulching, edging and weeding. Position is best suited for a detail oriented individual
• Lawn care - Mowing, string trimming, and blowing. Position is best suited for a fast-paced person. Pesticide/ Fertilizer Applicator using seed spreader.
• Winter property maintenance - Snow removal services including snow plowing, shoveling, and salting.
• Equipment maintenance – General maintenance, repair and inventory of equipment and supplies.
• General property maintenance – Maintenance of overall exterior facility appearance.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to follow directions well
• Must be a dependable team player
• Must be able to apply directives to successful task completion independent of supervision
• Must be able to lift between 50-75 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
