Grant Writer

Research, draft, edit, and prepare written funding applications including grant budgets and grant proposals with sufficient time to review and submit to the granting agency.  Write and edit narratives to ensure proposals are technically responsive and present the projects in the most favorable manner, including adherence to submission requirements and responsiveness to scoring criteria and priorities. Content should reflect the highest professional presentation of materials. Monitor progress of grant applications, identify problems, and amend the plan as necessary to resolve problems and complete grant applications by original planned date.
 

• Experience working with rural communities. 
• Excellent written communication skills
• Top-shelf research skills
• Ability to understand the needs of both the agency in need of funding and the organization that is offering the grant money
• Great organizational skills
• Being able to understand and execute complex instructions
• Outstanding computer skills

Background check, and writing sample will be required for assignment.
