Acquisition Program Analyst

We are seeking a mid-level Acquisition Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. This role will provide support for the Program Executive Office - Ships Government Equipment Manager (PEO Ships GEM). Individual will be the functional alternate to the Principle Acquisition Analyst/Program Leads and will specialize in certain areas of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) management, but also support overall management.

Job Function: Support major programs initiatives from conception to completion by providing administrative support.

The successful candidate will be required to:

(1) Monitor contract awards and GFE deliveries
(2) Coordinate GFE risks and issues with Ships GEM and the larger team

(3) Maintain and track Action items using a centralized computer data base system. This will include review require inputting data, preparing reports, coordination and liaison with team members to prepare Action Item briefs for program reviews.

Qualifications:

• 10 years DoD/Navy program support
• 2 years of experience working with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Understanding of NAVSEA organization
• Preferred understanding of Shipbuilding

Required:

Working knowledge of MS Office products

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
