Full Charge Bookkeeper (Entertainment Industry)

The Show Company is looking for a full charge bookkeeper for our growing international business.  We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, thorough, and organized individual to join our rapidly growing and energetic team.  In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our business.  You will also collaborate and communicate with management, employees, vendors, and customers to ensure efficiency and accuracy of financial records.
 

• Perform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to Xero and regularly reconciling accounts.
• Maintain Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Obtain and file necessary tax forms from new vendors and customers
• Maintain budget actuals and chart of accounts.
• Create financial reports and Excel worksheets
• Process contractor invoices and company payroll, including preparation and filing of payroll taxes
• Prepare and file required government forms and taxes
• Prepare year-end books for submission to our CPA
• Provide administrative support to management when required.

• Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience working with a company with at least $10+M in annual revenue
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience in the entertainment industry helpful
• Experience with foreign wires and currencies
• Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized
• Enthusiastic collaborator and skilled communicator
• Strong time manager with respect for deadlines
• Ability to identify errors and solve problems
• Decisive and critical thinker
• Experience with Xero is strongly preferred.  Strong experience with QuickBooks is acceptable.
• Proficiency in Excel, able to create worksheets using formulas linking to multiple worksheets (i.e. v lookup, and if/then) to generate reports to assist in projections and reports
 

• Position to be based in Las Vegas, NV.  Possibility of 1-2 days remote work for skilled candidate.
