Freight Payables Specialist

• Audit all (international and domestic) inbound freight invoices for accuracy
• Process inbound freight invoices as they are received to ensure timely processing within payment terms
• Request, review and reply to all vendor inquiries including monthly statement of account review
• Manage invoice discrepancies by working cross-functionally to ensure resolution and payment
• Manage SOP’s for carrier specific invoicing needs
• Reporting as needed on invoice / dollar activity processed within ERP
• Testing within ERP for new process changes and sharing results
• Proactively advise of challenges processing invoices and propose solutions for efficiency
• Ability to partner and collaborate with the Accounts Payable teams and Operational teams
• Assist the Logistics Team as needed for various operational needs, including tracking/tracing shipments

• 3+ years processing freight invoices (especially international invoices)
• Must be able to problem solve, multi-task and work independently with accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Experience in Microsoft D365 and Power BI a plus
