Job Summary: The Food Service Attendant (FSA) is directly involved in food production and distribution to patients, guests, staff, Meals on Wheels participants, and for special functions in accordance with FDA Food Standards. This position is also instrumental in maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Nutrition Services Department. The Food Service Attendant (FSA) is involved in the food production process and delivers high quality food products, provides service excellence to staff, patients and their family members that meets or exceeds patient expectations, maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment by including, and ensures high quality products and services. Punctual and mandatory attendance required. Every other weekend, every other holiday required. Positive work history required.
Education / Licensure/Certification Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent required. Serve Safe Certification preferred. 1-2 years Food Service experience with knowledge of food preparation, handling, and storage preferred.
