Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm

Pay: up to $20/hour based on experience

Type: Temporary to full-time hire
 

We are currently seeking a full-time Fitter-Welder to become part of our team in Mars PA. If you are a self-starter that can work with minimal supervision, have a positive attitude, and good work ethic, we would like you to become a team member in our friendly, clean, drug free work environment. The responsibility of this position is managing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detailed, specialized work is the major focus. The position will provide security in a stable work environment, allowing the person to plan for, focus on and complete tasks on hand. The position will generally be task oriented, requiring someone with a conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.

Job Duties:

• Prepare Materials for fitting
• Saw and Shear operations
• Form materials using Press Brake, Rolls
• Drill and punch holes using hand tools and ironworker
• Fit materials up per customer's drawings and specifications
• Weld materials together per drawing specifications
• Check finished weldments against drawings to make sure all the requirements have been fulfilled.
