Voice and Data Technician

Full time position for a “Infrastructure Technician”
 

Infrastructure Technician: a technician who installs, troubleshoots and services IT related cabling as well as IT equipment
 

We are looking for a technically inclined dynamic person to fill one of our “Infrastructure” positions.

Prior experience is preferred although for entry level candidates, training will be provided for the right candidate who shows a desire to learn and grow in our industry. If successful this position does have the potential to turn into a career if desired.
 

Daily responsibilities would include;

• installation & termination of
• Data cables
• Fiber optic cables
• Low voltage wiring
• Remote assistance

• Position Requirements:
• Must be capable of lifting 50+ pounds
• Must be able to be on their feet for an extended amount of time
• Must be comfortable in small spaces with limited mobility
• Must be comfortable on a ladder
• Must be comfortable with heights

Desired Experience:

• Termination, testing and troubleshooting of copper wire – CAT 5e, CAT 6, COAX, BNC
• Termination, testing and troubleshooting of PBX and analog phone systems
• Installation and provisioning of any equipment related to – Networking equipment, security systems and phone systems
