Facility attendant (part time)

Position Title: Part-Time Facility Attendant
Location: Henry County Charter School, Georgia
Hours: 5 PM - 10 PM, Monday to Friday
Reports To: Facility Manager

Position Summary:
Henry County Charter School is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Facility Attendant to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment for our students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure all waste bins are emptied and disposed of properly.
• Restock restroom supplies as needed.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for school events and activities.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facility Manager promptly.
• Ensure all doors and windows are secured at the end of the shift.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous custodial or facility attendant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
