Facilities Engineer

Our Engineering department is looking for a telecommunications engineer to join its team.

The Outside Plant Facilities Engineer is crucial to properly placed telecommunications equipment for maximum service to community.  This position is responsible to research, design, and coordinate the location of Plant fiber, cable, and electronic facilities.  Daily duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting inspections of assigned projects
• Ensuring work is being completed to RUS standards
• Utilizing Mapcom (M4 mapping) and Global Positioning System (GPS) software for layout, design, and recordkeeping

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum five years’ experience related to Outside Plant Engineering
• High school diploma or GED; AS Degree preferred
• Mapping or GPS software experience highly valued
• Must have a valid Class C California driver’s license with a minimum of three years of unrestricted driving experience.
