Huntington Learning Center in Arlington Heights is hiring tutors for ACT and SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading, or Science. We are looking for dedicated tutors to help our students reach a brighter future! Candidates should possess the following qualities:

Flexibility: Hours available weekdays after school and Saturdays + Sundays 9-3. Work from 6-28 hours per week. Teacher certification not necessary; excellent opportunity for professionals from ANY industry.

No Outside Work: No lesson plans to create or homework to grade! Full-time staff takes care of all communication with parents.

Training: Paid initial and ongoing training will help enhance your present skills and develop new ones.

Students: Work with a variety of students on a one-to-one basis. As you track students’ progress, you will see marked improvement in their skills, confidence, and motivation.

Compensation: $15 to $22/hour, depending on experience and expertise.

Job Requirements:

Part-time evening and/or weekend availability. College degree required; Type 09 teaching certification is a plus but is not required for those with subject area expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test).
