Position Overview
The company is seeking a motivated and experienced Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. This is a key position that plays an essential role in winning and managing bids for major commercial drywall and framing projects. The ideal candidate will bring not only strong technical estimating skills but also leadership, collaboration, and the desire to build a long-term career with a respected industry leader.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and bids for commercial drywall, framing, and ceiling projects.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.

• Utilize Quick Bid and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software for comprehensive estimating.

• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors throughout the bidding process.

• Identify project risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.

• Manage bid schedules, proposal documentation, and preconstruction deliverables.

• Contribute to company growth by supporting business development and client relationship efforts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience estimating commercial drywall and framing projects.

• Proven proficiency in Quick Bid and On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software.

• Solid understanding of bid management processes, construction means and methods, and cost analysis.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• A stable work history demonstrating reliability, commitment, and professional growth.

• Ability to take direction well while also exercising initiative and independent judgment.
