Equipment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Maintenance technician working with fitness equipment.  Will install, repair and modify fitness equipment, including; motors, power and control devices and wiring, switchgears, lighting, and all types of mechanical parts and devices, etc. Performs all duties within applicable codes and regulations.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, reports on and corrects electrical equipment and system malfunctions.
• Performs preventive maintenance and reports accomplished PM duties.
• Performs adjustments, size change-overs, set-ups, calibrations, etc., on all fitness equipment.

• Qualifications

• Electrician certification preferred, and high mechanical ability and aptitude.
• Strong problem solving ability with successful experience in a team building environment.
• Trouble shooting expertise with fitness equipment and in a fitness environment
• Experienced with computer and PLC usage/troubleshooting/operations.
• High level competency in maintenance procedures, parts and production equipment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English, pass paid physical, move up to 50 lbs/70 lbs. occasionally.
