Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for profit/loss of equipment installations, creating and meeting project schedules, and job cost control
  • Responsible for meeting project deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Review and coordinate project plans and specifications
  • Coordinate with staff on electrical and mechanical requirements
  • Oversee internal and external contractors’ daily responsibilities
  • Work with Engineering Project Manager on all subcontracts and client change orders
  • Communicate directly with all parties through duration of projects including sales, engineers and clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions
  • Conduct on-site meetings to review phase progress and ensure timely follow through
  • Conduct client job meetings to review phase progress and ensure timely follow through
  • Qualify and negotiate contracts with Purchasing for all subcontractors on projects
  • Approve all requests for subcontractor payments
  • Prepare, monitor and update project schedules
  • Ensure safety by having a full understanding of all COVID-19 and OSHA requirements
  • Guarantee overall quality and workmanship throughout completion of construction projects

Qualifications:

  • AS or BS Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related project management experience for equipment installations
  • Thorough understanding of bidding, scheduling, estimating, permitting, budgets and reporting
  • Excellent client relations management and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes and regulations
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically to job sites
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with a good motor vehicle record
