What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.
• 12+ years of relevant project management experience within a healthcare setting preferred
• Prior Epic project implementation and/or enterprise-wide system upgrade experience preferred
• Strong problem solving, negotiation, issue resolution and coordination skills
• Excellent project management skills required
• Experience in SDLC
• Experience in Epic or Epic certification a plus
• Epic environment management experience preferred
• Epic-related Upgrade experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

What you will do:

In this role, you will lead mainly clinically oriented projects for our enterprise-wide initiatives that are tied to our organizational strategic goals. The implementation manager role will work with our team who supports Epic’s Anesthesia, ASAP, Beacon, Bedside Mobile, Bugsy, Case Management, Inpatient Clin Doc/Orders, Optime, Rover, Stork, Willow and other EMR technologies that integrate with Epic. Epic experience/certifications is preferred and expertise in the healthcare IT space is required.

Responsibilities of the Implementation Manager will include:

• Lead and coordinate high level projects across multiple teams- application, server, network, desktop, interface, citrix, etc.
• Partner with hospital operational leaders to implement Epic workflows and procedural guidelines as it relates to the application functionality
• Lead the design and implementation of new Epic modules and application features
• Identify compliance issues and establish workflows that meet the requirements of the clinical and administrative end user with the least disruption possible to their day-to-day operations
• Establish working relationships with end users, department heads, hospital administration and senior management
• Partner with senior and executive leadership around initiatives that focus on organizations key growth strategies
• Manage the ongoing support, maintenance. Upgrades and enhancements of integrated applications
• Provide leadership and mentoring to our application team members
