Drywall Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Drywall Technician VALLEY WIDE to join our team. As a Drywaller, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise in drywall installation and repair techniques will be crucial in ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels to specified dimensions.
- Secure drywall panels to studs or ceiling joists using appropriate fasteners.
- Patch, tape, sand, and finish joints to create a smooth surface ready for painting or wallpapering.
- Repair and replace damaged drywall sections as required.
- Apply texture to walls or ceilings using spray guns, brushes, or trowels.
- Follow blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions to determine layout and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, minimizing dust and debris.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects within established timelines.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drywaller, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- In-depth knowledge of drywall installation, repair, and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools commonly used in drywall work.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy drywall panels.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or formal training in drywall installation or related field.
- Experience with different types of drywall textures.
- Familiarity with drywall-related software or technology.
