Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Donor Relations Manager, MDC Foundation position.  This position assists the development team in developing strategies for effective stewardship of donors to include proper reporting to donors, monitoring use of funds, appropriate recognition, and special events.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages a comprehensive stewardship plan to build trust through consistent and meaningful contact
  • Manages stewardship plans for gift societies, including donor recognition/stewardship events, plaques, publicity plans, and customized reporting of gift impact
  • Coordinates personalized opportunities for donors to meet with college leadership, students, and faculty
  • Monitors status of new and existing endowed and current use funds and ensure proper recognition and compliance
  • Manages acknowledgement condolences, and congratulatory communication for the Executive Director of the MDC District President, Foundation Chair, and other foundation leadership
  • Manages stewardship publications, marketing materials, and/or reports for the Foundation including annual reports
  • Manages the stewardship budget; analyzes expenses on regular basis to identity new strategic opportunities
  • Participates in college-wide prospect management, cultivation and stewardship of donors and prospects
  • Plans and coordinate receptions, dinners, and events to support stewardship

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree and three (3) years of relevant experience; or bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
  • Strong commitment to the ethical handling and management of donor and alumnae information
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Proficiency in or ability to learn and use Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge
