Are you self motivated and looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity?  We are seeking to hire a Division Manager to oversee all activities pertaining to our drilling company, which specializes in tight access drilling.  This position helps develop drilling strategies and manages internal process controls to ensure achievement of company revenue and profitability objectives.  The Division Manager provides leadership and confidence to the drilling team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the drilling operations as it relates to safety, quality, cost control, project schedule, and employee relations
  • Collaborate with the President to set strategic direction and standards for operational performance, sustainability and growth
  • Continually search for new opportunities and manage process for preparing timely proposals; meet with potential customers, review project scope and plans and provide final proposal.
  • Direct, plan and manage utilization of project resources (equipment, budget and personnel) to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.  Identify areas to improve operations in order to achieve or exceed key performance indicators or targets
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching of drilling staff as needed
  • Manage team schedules to maximize performance, minimize overtime, plan for vacation and absences
  • Oversee and maintain company fleet, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies and SOPs
  • Travel to drilling projects sites within the San Francisco Bay Area, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • 5 years of industry-related sales/project management
  • Drilling experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High business acumen – Identifies market potential, trends and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the markets and competition
  • Communication – Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Leadership – Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Drive for Results – Sets challenging targets and achieves results in a consistent manner
  • Building Effective Teams – Motivates, develops and manages a high-functioning team
  • Must be able to traverse potentially rugged terrain
  • Must possess a valid CA driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain all eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle
