Director of Nursing (DON) - Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

LeaderStat has a new opportunity for an RN Director of Nursing with a fantastic Skilled Nursing provider in Northwest St. Louis.  This is a large building that offers competitive compensation.
 

Directors of Nursing are responsible for leading all clinical areas in a Skilled Nursing setting. This position is ultimately accountable for the nursing care received by patients. The position reports to the Administrator.
 

Job duties include:

• Directing the nursing program, including implementing new policies and procedures when necessary
• Overseeing and developing nursing & care staff
• Communicating with families, residents, and physicians as needed
• Developing a business plan and budget for the nursing unit
• Participating in creating resident care plans and ensuring they are followed
• Ensuring the nursing unit is compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
