Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Description: Role Summary
Artech is looking for a Digital Marketing Communications Specialist to join our Cargo marketing team in Seattle, Washington. You will help develop and execute content strategy for lead-generation, customer acquisition and retention, and help the business maintain a consistent voice across digital channels in a B2B environment. You will focus on programs that attract, nurture and convert leads by driving engagement throughout the customer lifecycle across website, outbound (Email and blogs), e-books, and more. You’ll work closely with the Cargo marketing and business development team, sales team and marketing agencies supporting Alaska Air Cargo.

Scope & Complexity
• This individual contributor position supports email, social and web marketing, as well as campaign / editorial calendar activities for Alaska Air Cargo.
Key Duties
• Create and manage the content roadmap/calendar across all channels aimed at national and international freight forwarder and logistics companies.
• Develop content briefs, drive production and written copy in coordination with creative agencies, for blogs, website campaign pages, email, thought leadership white papers, micro-sites, social media, etc. with the goal of bringing Cargo to life in a way that enhances and increases brand awareness and produces quality leads.
• Builds brand awareness by planning, developing, designing, and executing cross-channel organic social media and digital strategies (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) and owned media channels (e.g. customer newsletters, emails).
• Write exceptional copy, with the ability to adapt to brand style and tone while shaping technical content to align with the overall marketing narrative.
• leads all email communication for the cargo division, including promotional and transactional messaging.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job-Specific Skills
Required
• 3-5 years of digital marketing experience in a business-to-business environment.
• Previous experience in writing (e.g. copywriting, PR, marketing communications, etc.) and digital.
• Basic design fundamentals in photography and graphic design.
• Understanding of HTML, Kentico, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Mailchimp.
• Strong passion and curiosity for the digital space.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• 20 hours per week average

Preferred
• Logistics, Freight Forwarding or Air Cargo industry experience.
• A Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
