What You’ll Do:
The Digital Marketing Affiliate & SEM Specialist role is responsible for working with the Digital Marketing Manager to both create and implement campaigns/strategies in the affiliate marketing and search engine marketing channels. These responsibilities will require close collaboration between our SEM agency, affiliate platform, affiliate publishers, Blain’s marketing & merchant teams. The Digital Marketing Affiliate & SEM Specialist will also be responsible to deliver performance reporting on campaigns in the affiliate and SEM channels.

• Servicing of affiliate marketing programs including competitive analysis, determine appropriate commission rates and offers, create and send newsletters and top publisher emails, account optimization, trademark monitoring, handle order inquiries, applications, placement opportunities, perform account audits, make network deposits, issue monthly new publisher activation emails.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the web team to ensure all links, promotions, and content is up to date and accurate.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor Operator performance, analyze data, and generate reports to optimize for revenue. Identify areas of improvement and recommend optimization strategies.
• Commission Tracking and Payments. Ensure accurate tracking of earnings and commission payments. Address any commission-related inquiries or discrepancies promptly.
• Campaign Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive campaign plans that integrate multiple digital channels to maximize reach and impact. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns effectively, ensuring alignment with client expectations and timelines.

What it Takes:

• 1-2 years affiliate marketing or a strong understanding of affiliate marketing from other related positions
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem identification and resolution skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
• History of success working both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team on multiple concurrent projects
• Experience in a high-volume retail environment
• Knowledge: Familiarity with affiliate marketing concepts, performance metrics, and tracking tools is advantageous. Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media) is beneficial.
