Covenant Living is a Continuing Care Retirement Community serving seniors of age 62 years and better with their housing, dining, medical needs, and activity needs. We provide all levels of living for our residents as they age from: residential living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.
We are looking for a full time server to join our Dining Team. The schedule needed changes per 2 weeks. The first 2 weeks are Monday-Friday and the next 2 weeks are Wednesday-Sunday. The hours are from 5:45am-2:30pm.
Pay starts at $15 an hour and up based upon background and experience!
In this role, Server, will:
Prepare dining area for breakfast and lunch.
Gather plates and bowls as necessary for salad bar and soup kettle.
Prepare desserts.
Serve breakfast and lunch to residents, guests, and staff.
Bus tables and reset as needed.
Assist in setting up meetings, coffee, teas, etc. Prepare salads and desserts for special functions, under direction of supervisor.
Assist with clean up after special events.
Clean up server area at the end of shift.
Maintain cleanliness of prep items in produce cooler (salad dressings, fruits, etc.)
Complete weekly cleaning assignments as scheduled.
The ideal candidate will have:
High school education or equivalent.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
One year of food service experience.
Willingness to work and interact with older adults.
Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
