Temp to Hire

Swing shift is 1:30 pm to midnight, M-Th. Pay is $18-$21 plus 5% differential for swing shift. Might pay more depending on experience.
 

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is an entry-level detailer position in the Machine Shop that requires minimal supervision for most tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Detail machined parts as instructed per shop order, print, and/or verbal instructions.
Work with various types of hand tools or air operated tools.
Report non-conformities to the Supervisor.
Read and comprehend written instructions.
Debur, file, and sand using Scotch Brite, wire brushes, and polishing agents.
Set up hand tools.
Install Helicoil inserts and dowel pins.
General housekeeping.
 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be U.S. citizen or permanent green card holder.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screens, and random
drug screens when selected.
Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instructions.
Work well with others and maintain a professional attitude toward co-workers and customers.
Excellent attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 30 lbs. safely.
Able to work with acetone and isopropyl alcohol.
Must be able to pass respirator medical evaluation and fit test and wear respirator while performing
job duties.
