Custom Applicator

An industry-leading ag retail company is currently seeking a dedicated Custom Applicator to join their team in Shawano, WI. This role is responsible for the precise application of crop nutrients and crop protection products, along with the maintenance of custom application vehicles and equipment.
 

Job Duties:

• Calculate chemical mixes per blend sheet specifications and ensure proper calibration of fertilizer and spraying equipment.
• Operate, service, and maintain all types of custom application equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and suppliers.
• Assist with daily operations at the location, including receiving, loading, delivering products, and treating seed.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Post-secondary education is desirable, but experience may be substituted for education.
• Possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, handle exposure to weather conditions, and work extended seasonal hours.
• Possess or be able to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification.
• Previous experience operating and servicing farm machinery.
• Farming background or experience with the application of crop protection products is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Farming background.
• Application experience.
• Chemical application education.

Pay: $45,000 - $75,000 + Benefits
